Vaccines prevent diseases which are active in our community and region. It is very much compulsory to take vaccines on time. If you are avoiding any vaccine means you are inviting that disease.A vaccine enhances the immune system of our body and gives strength to fight against that disease in future.Avoiding infant or baby vaccine can lead to frequent illness of child and even illness may become critical.Vaccine prevents upto 3 million deaths every year worldwide.We now have vaccines to prevent more than 20 life-threatening diseases, helping people of all ages live longer, healthier lives. Immunization currently prevents 2-3 million deaths every year from diseases like diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, influenza and measles.Vaccines and immunization is a key component of primary health care and also an indisputable human right. It is also the best health investment which money can buy.
Below are the few tips before vaccination
- If the baby is suffering from a cold and fever then consult a doctor and take another date for a vaccine.
- If you are traveling to another country during vaccination time then first consult a doctor.
- Never drop or delay any vaccine without doctor recommendation.
Few critical infant vaccines never to avoid or delay unless recommended by your child doctor.
Measles- brain swelling, brain damage and conditions of death.
Mumps- permanent deafness.
Meningitis- brain damage.
Polio- this vaccine prevents paralysis.
Tetanus :- This vaccine prevents us from serious disease from death.
- It is critical and caused by germs in soil or iron rust. It can't be spread from child to child. But if you can't vaccine against tetanus then child is at risk.
- In minor cuts by rusted metal or by soil depletion on the cut area can cause infection. As per survey 10% of children and adults die every year because of it.
- Major cut or injury in both conditions. If a child becomes sick and can't take 3 doses of tetanus vaccine, then the doctor gives a special blood product called " tetanus immune globulin" .

3. DTwP - Diphtheria, tetanus, whole cell pertussis.
4. DT - Diphtheria and tetanus toxoids.
5. TT - Tetanus toxoid.
6. Hep B - Hepatitis B vaccine.
7. MMR - Measles, Mump and Rubella vaccine.
8. Hib - Hemophilus influenzas type 'b' vaccine.
9. IPV - Inactivated poliovirus vaccine.
10. Td - Tetanus, reduced dose Diphtheria toxoid.
11. HPV - Human papilloma virus vaccine.
12. PCv - Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.
13. Tdap - Tetanus and Diphtheria toxoids and a cellular pertussis vaccine.
